In an airbag deploying event, a 2 way call is automatically connected to the vehicle, collecting data from the vehicle such as speed to collision, number of occupants, pinpoint location, direction of travel and other information accessible from the TCU (telematics control unit) allowing our emergency trained operators to assess the accident and notify local emergency services. Talking to a real human can also reduce stress and provide reassuring support to drivers and those involved in a roadside incident.
